Loyal and proud, this breed seems to adapt to owners personality and lifestyle. mine get up when I do, sleep when I do and love to play. They are easily trained and amazingly smart.
They do not do well kenneled up for long periods, because of their build, they tend to gain weight. They are normally an active breed and like to hunt. They are classed as scent hounds, the same as beagles and will track deer ,blood and their masters.
I also have a 4 yr old black and tan female for sale. extremely gentle, housebroke and minds very well. I bought her a year ago from an unloving couple that didn'nt deserve t have an animal. she is full blooded, papers on her will take a while but can be retrived.
